Installer screening standards
EnergyAI screens every installer partner before making them eligible to receive a homeowner's contact information. Screening reduces risk; it is not an endorsement, warranty, or guarantee of workmanship.
The automatic routing gate
- Identity match: the applicant's company name or website must match a Google Maps business listing confidently.
- Operational listing: the Google Maps business status must be operational when the application is checked.
- Public reputation: the live listing must show an average rating of at least 3.5 and at least five reviews.
- Partner commitment: the installer accepts the Partner Terms, supplies a complete profile, and agrees to provide accurate licensing and insurance information.
- Service fit: services offered and geographic coverage must match the homeowner's requested project.
Manual backstop
If Google Maps is unavailable, the listing cannot be matched confidently, or the gate does not pass, the installer remains out of automatic routing. ViridisNorth LLC may conduct an enhanced manual review of business identity, applicable licensing requirements, and current insurance evidence before approval.
What screening does not mean
Google Maps ratings and reviews are public, user-generated reputation signals; they are not license, insurance, safety, or workmanship verification. Google states that reviews are not verified, although it checks for and removes fake content when identified. Requirements vary by trade and jurisdiction, and public records can become outdated. EnergyAI does not supervise contractors, promise that a contractor will remain licensed or insured, guarantee a quote or outcome, or replace your own due diligence. Before signing, verify the contractor's current license and insurance with the relevant state or local authority, review the written scope and warranty, and check references. See the Google Maps user-contributed content policy.
How matching works
You choose whether to request a match. Contractors see a limited project summary first. Your name, email, phone number, and address remain locked until a screened contractor accepts the project and completes the disclosed connection terms. Contractors may pay ViridisNorth LLC a one-time lead fee; the assessment and matching request remain free to homeowners.
